Run Time Error 5

Hi all, I've been getting a Run Time Error 5 message with zotero in word on my Mac; I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling zotero but am still getting the error message. I noticed a couple old threads about this problem, but they all seemed to point to it being basically unsolvable. Am I missing something? Is there a way to fix this run time error for Macs?
