New computer, Zotero problems

Recently purchased a new MacBook Pro. Running OS High Sierra Version 10.13.1. The latest software. Running Word for Mac Version 16.10.

I use Zotero on my iMac, same software for both OS and Word. Zotero works fine on my iMac. I have Zotero 5.0 downloaded on the new MacBook, and the plugin is showing up on Mic Word, but when I go to insert a citation it says "Word could not communicate with Zotero."

I have uninstalled and reinstalled. Any ideas?

Does the Word for Mac add-on show as installed and enabled under "Tools --> Add-ons" in Zotero?

Same problem here. I use Zotero Version 5.0.35.1 and Word for Mac 16.10 and i get the same citation as described above. Word add- on ist shown as enabled under "Tools --> Add-ons" in Zotero.

Does anyone what to do?

I use a Macbook Air and Word 2016 but I cannot see a Zotero Plugin on the ord document.
