Time line returns empty

I was waiting for 2.0 for quite sometime and hence was excited to see the upgrade. I understand that the bugs need to be taken out. i tried creating timeline for my citations and the timeline returns empty! even the timeline controls under the time ribbons are absent.

I'm not able to reproduce any problems with Timeline in 2.0. Was it working for you in an earlier version? Have you adjusted the Date Type appropriately?

Also note that group items aren't yet supported in timelines.

Oh there was a mistake in my doing it, i guess it does not work for saved searches either?
Sorry for wrong Post!! it works fine for regular libraries and subcollections.
