Footnoting previously cited work, only cites author's name

I am using Chicago citation, and when I cite a source for the second time, I enter the footnote and Zotero just generates the author's name and the page (Kirk, 20). I would like either Ibid., if the citation is referring to the last cited work, or author's last name plus a short book title (Kirk, A Man Attested by God, 20), if the citation is to a previously cited but not just cited book. Is there a way to do what I am wanting? I thought I could do this before, but can't now... Thanks.

The 17th edition of Chicago no longer recommends Ibid, but rather recommends just the author's name in its place (or name plus short title for subsequent citations like you say). This is how Zotero implements Chicago 17th edition. If you want a version with Ibid, that is available:
