Identifier finds the wrong literature from ISSN number
It has happened multiple times that when I search in the identifier by ISSN number, Zotero finds the wrong source/document, even one with a completely different ISSN number registered in its metadata. What might I be doing wrong here?

bwiernikThat feature does not support ISSN numbers, only ISBN, DOI, and PubMed ID (I suspect that it is treating the ISSN numbers as PubMed IDs).

kristinardottirThat would explain it! Thanks!

LiborAISSN is identifacator of serial publication as journals etc. No search engine can be able find document by the ISSN due to a a lot of documents with the same ISSN.

adamsmithwell, we could import the whole journal -- currently as a book, once we have a suitable item type as a periodical. Not sure if that's worth it, though. We'll definitely try to be stricted about PMIDs.

LiborAI am not sure if this is a good idea. Books are published in series too. For example, EEA Reports are divided into a lot of series. My institution published books in three different series, etc.
