Current Infectious Dis Rep AND Springer Vancouver styles: suppressing periods after journal abbrev
What is the best way to remove the periods that are automatically added to journal abbreviations? The two styles I'm referring to specifically are 1) Current Infectious Diseases Reports and 2) Springer - Vancouver (brackets). Thanks in advance!

strip-periods="true"to the line with<text variable="container-title" form="short"/>Is there a guide on how to customize a style? The instructions you provided sound easy enough but I'm not sure where to place that text. Thanks!
I've put in a fix.

The change was reviewed, so the parent style and the depent styles will all update within 24h now.
