Google Browser Message "Zotero automatically associated www.[URL].com with a previously defined pro

I've had Zotero installed on my Windows 10 PC for about 6 months and I'm suddenly getting this message whenever I use Google Chrome: "Zotero automatically associated www.[URL].com with a previously defined proxy. Future requests to this site will be redirected through %h/%p."

I don't have Zotero open at the time. I'm using the latest version of Chrome and running v5.0.33 of the Zotero Chrome plugin.

Any thoughts on why this suddenly began to occur and how to make it go away?

Thanks!
  • This is just Zotero’s feature to automatically redirect journal Pages and similar sites through your University proxy server so that you can get access to the full text of articles. You likely set up this feature at some point in the Chrome Zotero Connector.

You can disable this feature in the connector preferences. The message itself will stop appearing after Zotero has associated your proxy with the common sites you use.
