Mac Word update and plug in failure
Hi everyone,
I just did an update to my Word 2016 as prompted by my computer, and now Zotero is acting funny in Word. I can put a new citation in, and the citations update throughout the document. However, I have a very hard time (nearly impossible) editing an existing citation. When my mouse is within the citation, it doesn't highlight it as a field, and when I then click "add/edit" it brings up a field to add a brand new citation rather than edit the existing one. Once I was able to highlight the entire citation and click "add/edit" and it brought up the proper editing frame, but that only happened once.
Additional suggestion it's acting up- when citations are edited they all revert to Times New Roman font rather than the font the rest of the document is in the way they did prior to the update.
I already tried re-installing the plug in and restarting Word. Are others having this problem? Any suggestions?

danservalTo add more detail - the existing references do show up as editable fields, but once they update (e.g. renumber or move around), they no longer work as editable fields. So in a single document I can have the first half of the references working just fine, but the fields in the second half (that come after a new citation I insert) no longer work.

dstillmanAre you using Zotero 5.0.34.4? Older versions won't work properly with the new version (16) of Word 2016.
