Upgrade Storagefeature: RSS feed detection on Mac

I think the RSS integration in Zotero 5 is great.
I miss a feature, though: the ability to click a rss button/link in a browser and then the feed will import into Zotero.
I am a Mac user, using Safari, which upon clicking RSS links, returns an error message stating that I have not installed an RSS reader.
Standard method is to copypaste the feed from the URL field into New Library > New newsfeed, but wouldn't automatic detection be nice?
≈ Zotero needs to register as default RSS reader to MacOS X, which I (perhaps ill-informed) guess is one line of code somewhere? :-)
