Using Zotero on a New Computer

I had quite a few sources with notes in a library on my laptop, but unfortunately, I had to send it back to Dell for some repairs. I was given a loaner laptop from my school and had to reinstall Zotero. I've been attempting to reload the sources and notes from my previous laptop so that I can work on an assignment on my loaner, but to no avail. Can someone help me do this?

    Were you using Zotero syncing? Do you see your items in the web library on Zotero.org?

    I don't see any items in my web library on Zotero.org.

    Then unless you can access your old hard drive or have a backup of it, there isn’t anything we can do to help you recover the library.
