Dates of Sources Have Changed from DMY to MDY in Standalone

Hi, I couldn't find this exact issue after searching, so I hope someone might be able to help me.

I've recently switched over to Zotero Standalone after several years of using the old Firefox plugin. Whilst using the plugin, I had the locale set to en-GB, and happily entered dates in DMY in the Date field, and Zotero invariably entered it as DMY.

Now that I've switched over to Standalone, the dates in several of my sources have changed from DMY to MDY. In other words, sources that were for instance dated 11th May, 1929 are now coming out as 5th November, 1929. Dates where the day is higher than 12 are still DMY, but wherever there is ambiguity, Standalone has changed these all to MDY, and I don't know why.

I have changed the locale in the standalone about:config. This is only in the "Date" field, not the "Date Added" or "Modified" fields - the dates there are DMY, as expected. I thought this might have been an error from my initial input of the dates, but this is happening on dozens of items, and I'm using Chicago to cite them all, so the dates have been showing up in my footnotes for years - I would have noticed if the dates were wrong by now.

Is there a way to rectify this? Is there a setting to always default Date to DMY? Is there a way to batch-change all these dates back to what they should be?

Thanks!
