Multiple account sync problem

I am getting a message that says my Zotero database was last synced with a database different from my current one, and if I continue I will lose the data in the first database. My question is: Is this separate from my library, and can I safely lose the data from the last synced database. I am a novice to Zotero, have read about syncing and think I would be safe, but want to be sure. Thanks.

    The data from the last synced account — i.e., the data that would be deleted — is what you see in front of you in the Zotero program. The data you would see after syncing is the data you see online in the account you're trying to sync with.

    If you want to keep the data you have in front of you in Zotero, you need to sync with the account you were using when you created that data.
