Reference style mess

I am having a hard time getting the APA reference style to work properly. It keeps coming up as Vancouver. I have turned off and on the PC but in vain. Ideas???

You'd have to say more -- how are you citing, how & where are you selecting the citation style, what do the citations look like, how do you think they should look like, and anything else that might be relevant.

Thanks for your reply.
I choose APA and expect to have a figure in brackets/parenthesis but I get the first author name instead. I have tried it many times and keep getting the Vancouver style instead.

But how are you inserting/creating the citation? What part of Zotero are you using?
