Citing Interviews

Hi
How can I record the location in Zotero "interview" citation tab?
In my dissertation I cite personal interviews I held with research subjects. Following Chicago style, I should cite like this:
Smith, John. Interview with Bob Anderson. Personal interview. Pittsburgh, February 11, 2009.
Yet, I don't see how to do that through Zotero. I also don't see interview type, but I resolved this by putting "Personal interview" in the "medium" line.

Use Extra field. Write there:
event-place: Pittsburgh

Is there a canonical list of the name-value pairs which can be added into the Extra field?

I tried entering "event-place: Toronto" in the extra field, but I don't see the interview location in my citation. I'm also using Chicago style.

The citation style doesn't include event-place for interviews. I'm not sure it should as a general rule, so for now, getting this right would require customizing the style. (FWIW, I'm not sure citing personal interviews as part of the regular bibliography is a great idea; as opposed to other sources, readers cannot actually check on the accuracy of the reference).

Hi there,
I have the problem that when i cite the Interview in the World File it looks like this "(X. Person, Brief, 23. Januar 2020)" when instead it should say "(X. Person, persönliche Kommunikation, 23. Januar 2020)".
Where can I change that information from "Brief" to "persönliche Kommunikation"?

In Zotero, what do you have in the "Type" field of that entry?

That is a localization issue in the style. The style uses `term="letter"` to hold the phrase "personal communication". I will add the proper German translation.

(the above "persönliche Kommunikation" is correct. I´d maybe add this in French, Dutch, and Spanish (comunicación personal) while you're at it?

Added French and Spanish (those are the only ones I know enough to do myself). What's the Dutch?

In Dutch that would be "persoonlijke mededeling" or "persoonlijke communicatie", probably (https://www.linguee.com/english-dutch/translation/personal+communication.html). Either should work.

@damnation I used the Item type "Interview" and the field "medium" I entered "persönliche Kommunikation" but it does not show...
