1. personal columns
it would be very useful if there could be added personal columns in the library-overview. I would really like to add a column 'read' which i could check off, a 'priority-column' to quickly see what stuff I should read soon and a column 'where', to write for myself 'at home', 'in the university library', 'to be ordered online' etc.

2. collections
it would be useful, when opening an item, to see somewhere in which different collections it takes part.

note: I just started using Zotero, these are things I miss compared to my own, sometimes too chaotic style of typing bibliographies, printing them and writing remarks manually. Maybe there are features to do this, I could have missed them. Please inform me about them!

1. Custom item types and fields are planned for a future Zotero version in the medium-term. For now, you can indicate "read" and "priority" using Colored Tags. I would store information like "at home" in the Call Number field, which you can display as a column.

I'm not sure what you mean by the note. Could you elaborate?
