RSS feed: importing of additional fields

I have imported an RSS feed (through URL) and there is a field of interest missing, i.e. i get type, title, abstract, data, language, url and i need to get "category" (a field that is present in the rss feed). Is there any way to customize this behavior?

    RSS is poorly standardized and feed providers follow the standards even more poorly, so Zotero uses only a few very limited fields from feeds that are most likely to be present and there's no plans to improve that support at the moment. However upon saving RSS items from to your library Zotero will attempt to fetch additional fields.
