OpenOffice Bug with Latest Releases

I recently upgraded to OpenOffice 3.1 (in Ubuntu Linux). I'm using it in conjunction with the latest Zotero 1.5 beta and the latest OpenOffice plugin. I get the following error in documents with tables when I try to add a Zotero citation. The citation window does not show up, instead, I get the following error message: http://docs.google.com/Doc?id=dg6f5zxx_22cv3tt7f6 (image posted to Google Docs)

I have gone through the document troubleshooting guide with no success.

Just did some testing. The error described above does not occur in OO 3.0. And it DOES occur in 3.1 in Windows XP as well.
