"GLib-GObject-CRITICAL" error - Linux
I am running 14.04, Firefox v56 (I don't want 57 right now).
When I start the program, a terminal pops up and then Zotero runs. However the terminal keeps putting out the following error:
(zotero:20549): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: g_object_ref: assertion 'object->ref_count > 0' failed
Now, after repeating the above code several times I get the following and the error code above has stopped:
1512160280252 addons.update-checker WARN Update manifest for zoteroOpenOfficeIntegration@zotero.org did not contain an updates property
Any way to correct this?

But you shouldn't get a terminal window if you're launching Zotero via the GUI. How did you install Zotero, and how are you starting it?
(Unrelated, but if you don't want to upgrade to Firefox 57 you should be using Firefox 52 ESR, not 56, which is no longer receiving security updates.)
