NO admin access on work machine, Firefox not showing Zotero icon anymore...
We adopted Zotero for our team early this year. However, the recent developments have been that Zotero is not available as Forefox Add-on any more.
The Zotero icon has disappeared from Firefox, the Zotero standalone does not synchronize (while being logged with appropriate ID/ password). [Attempts to report-error are unsuccessful (error: Invalid response from repository).] Which also means PDFs and several other online articles cannot be added to repository (without manually adding individual details - which defies the purpose of automated addition).
Moreover, group members have no admin-access on the desktop.
Any solutions?

I _think_ you may be able to work them out without admin access, but might require IT.
Last time when I received email response after logging this issue (11/27/2017) - I don't remember what steps I took but the issue subsided momentarily. However, the synching has stopped functioning again!
1) You need the Zotero Connector: https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/no_toolbar_button
2) You need to fix the network connection in Zotero. If syncing and error reporting and other things depending on the network aren't working, you're likely using a proxy server or security software that's interfering with Zotero's network connection.
If you're still having trouble, you'd have to say what you tried and exactly what the problem is, along with (if you can't submit a Report ID) any errors you see in Help -> "Report Errors… "in Zotero.
