OOo crashes with plugin 2.02a

I've been using plugin 2.02a with OOo 3.0.0 for some time now without problems. However I ran into a problem today. I've added a lot of references to a document yesterday then went home. I should mention that I use Zotero 1.5b2 across two computers which are "rsync-ed". Today I came back to the office and if I try to add/modify a reference or just refresh the bibliography OOo crashes immediately.
May be something got corrupted during the synchronizations.
Any idea how I could solve this problem ?

    1) Does this happen in a new document?

    2) You might try upgrading to OpenOffice 3.1, which is now available.

    Thanks Dan for your answer.

    It happens only in this document.
    It seems that only this document is somehow corrupted. It has something like 60 references. I could start over and reinsert all the references but I would avoid that if possible.
    Has the Zotero plugin been fully tested in OOo 3.1 ?

    We've done basic testing of the plugins in 3.1 and haven't noticed any problems.

    Thanks.The Debugging Broken Documents was actually very helpful. I copied the entire document into a new one without the bibliography and reinserted it. Everything seems to work again. Thanks a lot, you saved my day !
    BTW : I will try OOo3.1, as I found the ubuntu repository for it.
