Upgrade to Zotero 5 (?) defaults to a Chinese version for me.
Yes I am in the Far-East but my system is entirely English.
Yes I've also changed to English but perhaps you could sort this in the installer?
Will the existing connector work in Firefox? Will the plugin work in Word?
Anything to be done there?

    The installer uses system language settings -- they're typically correct, but sometimes pick up an obscure setting -- that's upstream code, though, so unlikely to change.

    I don't understand the other questions. The general answer is obviously yes, but presumably you'll want to test this yourself?
