The citation style for Science of total Enviornment has DOI which is not needed, I want to remove it

Can someone help?

I am trying to edit the CML code
  • Science of the Total Environment has an independent style as it is an Elsevier journal and uses the same style as other Elsevier journals. They don’t actually print the DOI in the article, but only use it to link the references with their citation database.
  • If you want to customize the style, you'd customize "Elsevier Harvard" (which STE links to)
  • @damnation : So, If I leave the DOI's that would be fine ?

@adamsmith: Can you show me how to do it ?
    specifically for DOI

  • If you want to submit a paper to the journal, definitely leave the DOI in, yes
