Firefox Portable Zotero and Zotero 5.0

Hello everyone,

my Zotero Portable Version updated automatically to Connector. So I installed Zotero 5.0 Stand-Alone.

How can the Zotero Portable Firefox Version be migrated to local now?

The *.pdf files are stored in their own folder structure. I guess when migrating my folder structure is lost.

    will get to that as soon as the library is recovered. At the moment my library database isn't accessible since the updated Zotero Add-On (Connector) in Firefox doesn't display it.

    Is there a way to access the database on the USB from Zotero 5.0?

    If I think about it, even if I get the Zotero Firefox Add-on running again I will have a problem with migrating to the local database without changing the folder structure. I already tried this two weeks ago the Export changed the folder structure.

    So first of all:

    Is there a way to Export from the Zotero Firefox Add-On with keeping the folder structure?

    You will need to figure out where Firefox portable stores the profile. You can usually do this by navigating to about:support and clicking "Open Directory" under Profile Directory.

    Your Zotero data should be stored under directory named zotero. You can point Zotero 5.0 to that directory (although you might want to move it out of firefox profile first). See https://www.zotero.org/support/zotero_data
