How can I access zotero.sqlite when zotero is running?

Hi, I got Error: database is locked when trying to access zotero.sqlite while zotero is running. I've set sqlite> PRAGMA journal_mode=WAL but it doesn't seem to work. Is there a way to allow read only clients to query the database while zotero is running? regards, Amos
