Extracting Annotations 5.0.23 windows firefox

Hello,
can anybody help? I need to use the extracting annotations and notes from PDF function. I try to install zotfile, but for some reason it just doesn't seem to work... watched videos, read forums, etc etc.. :-(

    You need to install Zotfile into the Zotero app, not Firefox. If something still isn't working, please provide a detailed description of what you are doing, seeing, and what isn't working.

    I can't install the Zotfile in the Zotero app.
    If I klick on version V5.0.5 or V5.0.2, I can save a ZIP folder on my PC (tried with zotfile-master.zip and zotfile-5.0.2.zip), in these folders I am looking for the XPI file, but there is none.
    If I klick directly on the zotfile-5.0.5.-fx.xpi on the zotero website (or previous versions), an installation process begins but it is blocked by firefox and I am ending up on https://support.mozilla.org/fr/kb/signature-modules-complementaires-firefox?as=u&utm_source=inproduct...
    when klicking on download zotfile, I am getting these options : https://github.com/jlegewie/zotfile/releases
    If I click in the Zotero App on Tools and Add-ons to install, Add-ons Manager, small wheel on top right corner, Install add-on from file, I can't get to any xpi file as I could'nt save it on PC in the first step...
    I hope this is clearer for you to understand?

    right-click --> "save link as" on zotfile-5.0.5-fx.xpi here: https://github.com/jlegewie/zotfile/releases to download the xpi. Then install from Zotero Tools --> Addons.
