What exactly happens when you are trying to delete items in the trash?

unless this is a typo, though, you should start by updating Zotero to the most recent version, 5.0.23

After deleting two items in trash - I was prompted to report error (and yes, version 5.0.23)

If you can reproduce this, can you provide a Debug ID (different from a Report ID) for the actions that cause it?
