Can't update password after password change

I had to change my Zotero password using the email recovery feature. However, when I try to input the new password in the desktop application in the Sync dialogue box, there seems to be no way to hit "save" or "enter" or "login" to actually use the new password to login after I have typed it. As a result, I have been locked out of my Zotero app completely. Am I missing something? Any help with this would be appreciated! Thanks!
  • Have you tried just putting it in, closing the preferences clicking "OK" and then syncing? Remember Zotero is _not_ an online app. You don't log in. You sync it with data that's on the server (so I'm also not sure why you'd be locked out entirely without your password; that would just stop syncing).
  • Yeah that's what I meant -- it stopped syncing. Somehow it worked this time, though every time previously it had not. Hopefully the issue doesn't return...thanks!
