I am getting this error when I try to open PDFs on Desktop. I see the little blue dot saying they are there. I can open them online. I imported a bunch at once so maybe some sort of overload problem. But, my little green sync arrow isn't moving so don't think it is still trying to sync.

"The attached file could not be found.

It may have been moved or deleted outside of Zotero, or, if the file was added on another computer, it may not yet have been synced to or from zotero.org."

    It is in a Group Library. I just noticed the following file sync option:

    Sync attachment files in group libraries using Zotero storage. I clicked that and clicked sync button. We'll see if that does the trick.

    The blue circles are now turning into blue dots, and I can open them. Problem solved. No reply necessary, but hopefully this will help someone in the future!

    (File sync can take a while, which seems to be what was going on here)
