Re-establishing Zotero library on a wiped laptop

I use Zotero standalone, I have been using the free storage plan but have just upgraded to the 2GB plan. I have it synced so that I can always access my folders online if I'm at another computer elsewhere. My laptop needs to be wiped and returned to factory settings as I have a virus, and so I will lose Zotero standalone and then I will need to re-download it. Will Zotero standalone automatically become populated with all my folders once I've done this? I tried searching the forums and couldn't find an answer. Thanks.

Yes, this will work, but I'd still advise to have a separate local back-up of Zotero:

You always want some redundancy for important data.

The easiest way would be to just set up Zotero syncing on the new laptop. You can also copy your Zotero data folder from an existing computer setup with your library to the new one.
