Translator request for the manuscripts of Ottoman archieves

Hi,
There is a websites for the manuscripts of Ottoman archieves:
http://www.yazmalar.gov.tr/
Is it possible to write a translator for this webpage. The page contains an English translation, too.

Technically it is possible, but I doubt that regular translator-contributor will work on this. I don't see much structured metadata on these webpages. Thus, I guess that one would have to "screen-scrape" all the information from the website, which is usually much more error-prone and fragile. If you or someone else would like to work on such a translator, then I am happy to help.

I am not a computer programmer, nor do I know any coding language. However, if you accept the help of a probie like me, I would like to co-operate gladly, and will do my best.

zuphilip offered to help someone in their efforts to code such a translator -- I'm afraid there's very little you can do other than write the javascript code (which we can then help to improve).

Honestly, I really would like to contribute. However, I do not know the javascript code. So, it is too complicated for me to do anything. If there were a visual editor like http://editor.citationstyles.org/visualEditor, I would try.

perfectly understandable -- but you'll have to accept that those of us who are able to do so need to set priorities in what we work on.

I see and appreciate very much what you have done, and what you are doing. Zotero, its translators and styles are very very helpful for all of us. I do not ever know how to thank you and all the other contributors.
