Upgrade StorageVariable substitutions?
I would like to make variable substitutions and cannot seem to get it to work.
For example: when the genre variable is Dissertation use the abbreviation Diss.
Is this possible? How?

The Abbreviations Filter plugin can do this sort of ad hoc abbreviations (I'm not sure whether it is currently updated to work with Zotero 5.0):

I suspected variable comparison was not supported. As this will be a stye file for student use, I want to keep it simple. I think it will be easiest to abbreviate thesis types when importing- or just leave them intact.
