PDFs not attaching, Zotero 5.0.19 with Chrome connector 5.0.22

I've recently installed the latest versions of Zotero, Chrome (61.0.3163.91), and the Chrome Connector for Zotero. I have selected the preference to "Automatically Attach Associated PDFs", but they are not attaching. I am trying multiple databases, which worked correctly with the previous version of Zotero. The metadata is coming over correctly, so I can manually attach each article -- but this is less than ideal. Can you please suggest what else I can try?

Would DOIs be helpful? The URLs in most databases aren't stable. Here are two, in case that works. Let me know if not, of course. (These are being accessed through Social Services Abstracts via ProQuest) -- but I'm finding the same issue with Ebsco databases, JSTOR, etc.

no, DOIs don't really help -- we need to see how exactly you're accessing the items in questions. JSTOR urls are stable, so let's start there maybe?

For JSTOR you have to click on a PDF once yourself and accept the terms of service. After that, you should be able to save PDFs to Zotero (and that works for me with 5.0.19/5.0.22).

Then we'd want to see Debug IDs from both the connector and Zotero for a save attempt.

So are you not getting and PDFs anywhere? E.g. also not on open access page like

On any of these pages, do you get the PDF listed in the pop-up when the item is saving with a red x, or does it not appear at all?

Here is the debugging report number: D1464000087

It DID work for JSTOR this time -- other times, it appeared on the lower left an dthen a red x appeared. It is still not working for the two ProQuest/Social Services Abstracts articles.

This OA page -- https://zenodo.org/record/823314 -- doesn't prompt a Zotero page icon in the upper right (or any Zotero icon!)

are you providing the URLs exactly as you see them, or are you going through a proxy of some sort?

I'm on campus, so I'm not running the proxy server -- relying on IP authentication.

We only need a Debug ID for when it doesn't work.

What do you mean when you say you don't get any Zotero icon? There's a Zotero button/icon in all cases. If you load the Zenodo page and wait for it to fully load, what does it say when you hover over the save button?
