Upgrade StorageFeature Request: Always on top zotero search bar

I have a feature request that I would like to bring up. I have been getting coworkers to use Zotero, but one frequent mistake occurs when using Zotero with word, which usually goes like this:
- working on Word document
- go to add a citation
- zotero search bar pops up
- enter query
- select reference by *double clicking* entry
This creates a problem because the first click selects the entry and puts it in the search bar, collapsing the search results. The second click then lands on the underlying word document, and the zotero search bar disappears behind MS word. Then the citation field is left unfinished and the user gets confused as to what just happened.
I think this could be resolved in one of two ways:
1) make the zotero search bar "always on top" so that it doesn't go away until the user hits enter
OR
2) do not collapse or change the zotero search pane until the user has hit enter or started a new query.
