Advanced Search and unloaded libraries

If I try to do an Advanced Search of a library that hasn’t been loaded yet, it never returns any results (e.g., ‘Title’ ‘contains’ ‘a’). If I load that library by browsing it, then results are returned. I would expect trying to search a library to initiate loading it (ideally with the Please wait while items are loaded message).
