Problem with Alphabetizing References in Citations
I am not sure if this forum is the right place to report this problem, so please let me know if it should be somewhere else.
There is a problem with alphabetizing citations when using OpenOffice.org that seems to be a duplicate of Ticket #1002 that affected MS Word. I could not find a report of this problem in searching through the Zotero web site, so I thought it should be noted. I am copying the original ticket's title and description for ease of reference.
Alphabetize References In Citations With Multiple References when editing
When you edit a citation in Word and add additional sources the citation is not re-alphabetized. Everything is simply placed in the order listed in the multiple sources column. Thus one gets (Cronon, 1991; Cross, 2000; Burnham, 1994; Adelman & Aron, 1999) instead of (Adelman & Aron, 1999; Burnham, 1994; Cronon, 1991; Cross, 2000). In contrast if you originally create the citation with all four works they are properly alphabetized.
Thanks in advance for your help in this matter.
