zotero 5 connector not saving pdf file

I installed today zotero 5, including the connector (ubuntu 14.04).

I have tried to save a new pdf via the save button. However, nothing happens, i.e. there is a notification "saving link..." at the bottom right side of firefox, but nothing happens.

The Debug ID is D1548798744.

    Could you produce a Debug ID from Zotero side (make sure it only includes attempting to save the PDF and nothing more)?

    Do other items save to Zotero? In the Firefox Connector preferences, what does it say under "Zotero Status"?

    The Zotero Status was "currently available".
    However, when I came to work today, it suddenly worked. No idea why or what was different...

    But it saved both snapshot and pdf, I am not sure if one can avoid this?
