Chicago note format

Under "Basic Structure of a Note:, the Chicago Manual of style says that "Authors’ names are presented in standard order (first name first)." Zotero is formatting my notes with the surname first. Why? And how can I change it?

    What style are you using? Using Chicago (Full Note) shows the authors in First Last order in the notes for me. Using the style with short notes [Chicago (Note)] shows only the surnames in the notes, but then full names in the bibliography (with the first author shown as Last, First and others as First Last). This is all consistent with the Chicago manual guidelines.

    Sorry, it turns out the entry I started with had the author's name entered incorrectly; working fine now!
