Z5 Character encoding - dragging into browser

Hey,

I am running Zotero 5.17 on Linux and I try to get Zotero export via dragging/dropping to work with browsers. I start by setting the default exporter to either Bibtex or Biblatex. But then it fails on me, and I don't get why because dragging to into other applications does work.

Working:

* Drag-drop from Zotero into texteditor

* Drag-drop from texteditor into Chrome

Notworking at all:

* Drag-drop from Zotero into Firefox

Having character encoding issues:

* Drag-drop from Zotero into Chrome

I have tried dragging into plain input elements with no JavaScript running on the page, and I still only get output such as this (it should be "A 10 años de su declaración..."):
