Automatic URL Validation?

Our library contains several thousand entries and many of them contain an URL directly linking to the digital version of an article/book etc. Recently, we noticed that several hundred links have lost their validity due to server changes etc. Our question: is there a Zotero function allowing to check the validity of a saved URL? Or a tool? Thank you, Christian

    No to the Zotero tool. I do think there are link checker tools and you could expor your database as a CSV and feed the URLs to them, but I doubt they work all that well: many contemporary websites don't respond to an item that no longer exists with a proper HTTP response (the famous 404) but just direct you to their homepage or some customized page ('soft 404').
