Upgrade StorageUnable to install Zotero 5, get error message
When I try to install Zotero 5, I get a message saying "Your computer must be restarted to complete a previous upgrade of Zotero. Do you want to reboot now?" Rebooting doesn't solve the problem, so I just get caught in a loop where I can't complete the installation. I had a system admin with admin rights uninstall EVERYTHING she could find related to zotero (all program and other files) on my computer, and then tried installing, but am still getting the same error message. Does anyone have any suggestions?
NOTE: After submitting this I FINALLY figured it out. I found extra files in a folder called AppData\Local\Zotero. Not sure why we didn't find these earlier when searching for files to delete, but cleaning them out resolved the issue.. I don't see a way to delete this discussion so am putting this note here so anyone who reads it knows I solved it.
