Problem in uploading my Zotero library to a new computer

I have got a new laptop and I uploaded Zotero 5.0. When I try to upload my Zotero library to my mew laptop from Zotero Home by synchronization (by entering account name and password) an error message appears. It says "Error connecting to server. Check your internet connection". My internet connection works. What do you think is the issue? Please help!
  • Are you running any sort of antivirus or security software or connecting through a proxy server? If so, try temporally disabling your security software or your system proxy settings and see if it works. If it does, then see whether your proxy server or security software is intercepting HTTPS traffic or preventing your from accessing the zotero sync server.
