Chrome extension icon always stays as a 'Z' and doesn't change based on the website I'm on

Normally the 'Z' icon (showing as red as Zotero is available) changes to a newspaper or a journal article icon when on different kinds of webpages. I then click this to import it into Zotero Standalone in that format. Currently, it is always showing as a 'Z' and when I click it to import an item it says 'saving item' - but not into the group library I have selected in Standalone. So I don't know where the item is going.

    Try disabling other extensions (especially security and adblock related ones) and see if that fixes the problem.

    Only other extensions are google docs, sheets etc. Have disabled and still not changed. I tried the troubleshoot option and it says Zotero is available. Although in the extension options it says 'Zotero Status
    Zotero is currently unavailable. If Zotero is open, see the troubleshooting page.'

    Ah resolved it by deleting the extension and adding again. Thanks
