Open PDFs out of browser as default

When I open a PDF in Zotero, it opens in browser. When I open another PDF, it opens that PDF in the same tab as the previous one. This makes it so that I can't easily have multiple documents open at once. This would be fixed if Zotero opened PDFs not in FF. Is there a way to do this?
