Where is the preferences tab in Zotero 5.0?

Hi all,

I am trying to install Zotero portable because there is not enough room on my hard drive for my zotero library. However, all the instructions refer to Zotero 4.0 and I cannot find anything parallel to the preferences tab in Zotero 5.0.

Are there any ideas for how to do this for Zotero 5.0?

    It's "Preferences" or "Options" in the top menu.

    For some reason I do not have those tabs. Helpful to know that the problem is not with Zotero 5.0 but with my version of it. I will uninstall and reinstall zotero.

    They're not tabs — they're menu items, in the "Edit" menu on Windows/Linux or "Zotero" menu on macOS. (Prior to 5.0.5 it was Tools -> Options on Windows.)
