Downgraded version of Zotero (4.0.29.16) does not show/adds items

Hi everyone,

I'm finishing my thesis and this issue couldn't have appeared at a worse time :-(. I didn't expect incompatibilities between V5.0 of Zotero and better bib(la)tex plugin. I had to revert to an older version of zotero_standalone, namely 4.0.29.16.
I am using linux mint, having installed zotero_standalone from a deb package. Issues/remarks:
- I lost my previous database (although I have a backup);
- For some reason zotero UI still looks as stylized as V5.0;
- I cannot see/add any items to my library, nor import the previous backup :-(. The folder structure is there but there are no visible items;
- I checked and as expected I am running V4.0.29.16;
