Bibliography issue

Hi, trying to create the bibliography to my thesis and I am getting this notification:

The operation couldn't be completed. (OSStatus error -1728.) @[getText:field.m:561]

Any assistance to resolve this issue would be greatly appreciated.

    Most likely corrupt citations in your document. See https://www.zotero.org/support/word_processor_plugin_troubleshooting#debugging_broken_documents

    Unfortunately, not having much luck replacing citations - I can't get Zotero 5.0 to work replace each one and I can't go back and uninstall the new system. I think I have spent the last 3 hours making more of a mess of everything as I tried to go back. Fixing things seems to require more computer expertise than I possess.

    We can walk you through things, but we'd need to know what you have actually tried. The page adomasven links to describes specific steps, including if the first ones don't fix the issue, splitting the document in half (and again, etc.) to isolate a problematic citation. Have you tried that?
