citation style can't be saved: "OK" button is missing

Hi,
I'm new to Zotero. I downloaded a new citation style and installed it. No problem so far. But when I go to prefences --> stiles... I can only highlight the wanted style but can't confirm it with the "OK" button, because there is none (on different help sites i saw screenshots, that had "OK" buttons...)
I hope you can help me ;)
PS: I use a macbook, safari, Zotero standalone

    There's no OK button in the preferences on Macs. Settings apply immediately. If the style appears in the list, you've installed it. Just close the window.

    You select a style when you actually go to use it, either in the Create Bibliography window or the Document Preferences from the word processor plugin. (You can also set the Quick Copy style in the Export pane of the preferences.)
