Zotero as a Communications Log

Hi,

Did anyone try to use Zotero as a Communications Log? Given the power of the software, I guess it should be easy to adapt a library for communications. If anyone is already working on it, please share the experience.

    I am thinking on a log of the communications and responses between workgroups or organizations with tags to group issues, bugs or projects.

    Looks like I already have some ideas.
    I created a folder structure by addressee or organization I am communicating.
    For each communication I am just creating a link to the communication.
    In mail for Mac, you can generate a link to an email with the command "message://". You can find more info here http://hints.macworld.com/article.php?story=20071118154803739.
    But I am missing some more integration, like bunch importing or renaming the items in Zotero with the date and some other codes to codify the communication. I keep on trying. All ideas welcome.
    In the mean time, please develop a "Zotero printer" to import to Zotero from any other app.
