Upgrade StorageFeature request (or request for 3rd party project) - Android intent

This is more a request to the dev community around Zotero than to the core team. While the bookmarklet is a stopgap, what would be useful would be a simple intent which allows the user to share to Zotero.org from various applications, including file managers, cloud drives etc. Could someone be tempted to take this project on? I suspect it would be less ambitious than a full-fledged Zotero android client (most of which seem to get abandoned as projects before achieving full viability.)
