APA format mistake

APA (6th edition) format for a chapter in an edited text requires a comma after (Eds.) as follows:

Editor, A., & Editor, B. (date). Title of chapter. In A. Editor & B. Editor (Eds.), In Title of text (pp. xxx-xxx). Location: Publisher.

Instead, zotero uses a period following (Eds.). A dissertation committee will not accept that flaw in APA citation. How is this to be fixed
  • I'm unable to replicate this. The style's "container" macro already calls for a ", " separator between secondary contributors and the container title for any type other than blogs and webpages.

Are you sure you're using the latest version of the style and feeding it good data?

Yes, the APA Zotero style is definitely coded correctly, so this is either an outdated style (or a custom style with an error) or bad data in your Zotero library.

What style exactly are using in Zotero (American Psychological Association, 6th edition)? If so, click the "Update Now" button next to "Update styles and translators" in Zotero preferences. (In your existing document, after updating the style, switch to a different style and back.) If not, switch to that style.

If the problem persists, then, as noksagt says, check your Zotero data for this item to be sure that everything is entered correctly (e.g., was the Book Title entered as "A. Editor & B. Editor (Eds.). Title of text"?).
